HISTORY: SUDFLUG INTERNATIONAL was a German charter airline based at Stuttgart airport, and the first German airline to be founded after the Second World War. The airline was founded on 24 November 1952 under the name Suddeutsche Bedarfsflug. Lufthansa competitor took over the company on 2 January 1968. Lufthansa continued to operate Sudflug International as an independent subsidiary until the end of 1968, and fully integrated the company into its Charter-Gotter Condor Flugdienst on 2 January 1969.
