HISTORY: SCOTTISH AIRLINES (Prestwick) Limited was formed in 1946 as a subsidiary of Scottish Aviation Limited. The airline commenced worldwide passenger and cargo charter flights from bases at Prestwick and Stansted. Scottish Airlines ceased all flying operations in November 1960.
