HISTORY: AJT AIR INTERNATIONAL was a Russian airline. It was founded in 1991, and began operations the following year. In addition to the Russian internal flights it flew charter flights to Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia. Its licence was withdrawn in September 2003. The company's name was a combination of letters AJT was an acronym for Asia Joint Transport.
