HISTORY: HONGKONG AIRLINES is PRC owned airline company based in Hong Kong, with its corporate headquarters in Tung Chung district and its main hub at Chek Lap Kok International Airport. It was established in 2006. On 22 September 2006, CR Airways Limited officially changed its name to Hong Kong Airlines Limited and a launch ceremony took place on 28 November 2006.
