HISTORY: AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS is Argentina's largest airline and the country's flag carrier. The airline was created in 1949 by the Ministry of transport from the merger of four companies (Fama, Alfa, Aeroposta and Zonda) and started operations in Dec 1950.
